Majdi Ali Abu-Shrar is a 47 years old Palestinian farmer, who owns 10 dunums (2.5 acres) of land in Fuqeiqis village, within Dura. The land is more than just a source of income for Majdi; it is a symbol of their heritage and connection to their ancestors. Their history, culture, and traditions are physically manifested in the land. Palestinian farmers frequently cultivate crops that have been grown for generations on the same land, using techniques passed down through their families. The Olive Tree Campaign gave him 50 olive trees to help him stay on his land.
