Mohammad Hasan Ihshaish is a 46 years old Palestinian farmer, who owns 4.5 dunums (1.2 acres) of land in Fuqeiqis village, within Dura. The land holds great cultural, economic, and historical significance to Mohammad. For centuries, agriculture has been a fundamental part of Palestinian life, culture, and economy. Mohammad has deep roots in the land, and it is central to their identity and sense of belonging. The Olive Tree Campaign provided Mohammad with 80 olive trees to help his stay in his land.

Dura is a town located in the southern part of the West Bank. Its population was estimated to be around 23,046 people in 1997, and it covers an area of 17,600 dunums (4349 acres), with 6,912 dunums (1708 acres) currently cultivated. The agricultural sector in Dura faces several challenges, including lack of water, pastures, and development programs, as well as difficulty in marketing products. The Israeli colonies (settlements) of 'Adora' and 'Har Hebron' and located nearby, and its legality is disputed. Israeli activities in the area have led to the uprooting of hundreds of trees.
